Maura's school has been focusing on nursery rhymes as a way to get the kids ready to read. I loved this drawing that Maura made after school one day. At first, I was just surprised she had the nursery rhyme memorized. Then I noticed her drawing, which started with the cow jumping over the moon. Before I knew it, we had the cat, the dog, the dish and the spoon. It is so amazing to see their imagination in action...can't believe she starts kindergarten in September.
