4th of July Neighborhood Parade

One of the great things about being home is being back in my parents' neighborhood.  It is a place that everyone would want to raise their kids with nice neighbors, landscaped yards, no thru streets, and lots of places to play hide and seek.  After I left the house, the neighborhood association started a parade.  I would hear on the phone how Mom and Ali played the kazoo while the little kids rode their bikes.  It has been a tradition that my nephews and niece participate.  This year, I was excited for my kids to join in too.  The weather was great...our decorations were not so fancy, but everyone had fun.  Mom still played her kazoo while Ali and I helped the kids around the block.
