We were lucky enough to have the Phoenix 3 Day Walk for Breast Cancer go right by our house. We set up our table with some signs and handed out Jolly Ranchers and Lollipops. Maura would get so excited as a walker came over the hill that she would either run the block towards them with their candy or jump up and down until they arrived at our house. The expressions on the walkers face let Maura know they appreciated her enthusiasm.
I am glad we were able to do a little something for such an important event.
